Registered Nurse, Transitional Bone Marrow Transplant RN Residency for Experienced RNs
About The Position
Baptist Hospital is offering a new and growing in-patient Bone Marrow Transplant training opportunity. The BMT Transitional Residency is a competency based program that will include training in Bone Marrow and Oncology. As an inpatient BMT RN you will be able to provide care for patients battling illnesses that require a bone marrow transplant; prepare patients and their families for the treatments, educate how the treatment will help the patient’s condition and answer question about the process. The Transitional Bone Marrow Transplant RN Residency is now accepting applications. If offered, the program will start on April 6, 2026 cohort. This position is for experienced RN's wanting to go into an Bone Marrow Transplant with a minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting. Applications must be completed and submitted via the Internet only. Program availability is subject to change and will only run based on organizational needs. The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service. This course is designed to provide nurses with theoretical knowledge needed to provide holistic family-centered care to patients and family members and is targeted toward registered nurses who are new to emergency care nursing. Estimated pay range for this position is $42.64 - $55 / hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- Current FL RN License
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider card
- 1 year of current RN experience in a hospital setting (required)
- Nursing Degree/Diploma or Official/Unofficial Transcript indicating the nursing degree awarded
- FL RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider card that is valid for at least 2 months from the time of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. All Associate Degree nurses hires accepted into the program must agree to achieve their BSN degree within 3 years of start date.
