Overview Webster at Rye, located in beautiful Rye, NH, is currently seeking a Full-time RN for Monday through Friday, 6a-2p or 2p-10p, on our Long-Term Care Unit! This position offers weekends off! Requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in her/his area of practice by vigilant patient observation and assessment.
- Development and implementation of nursing care plans and therapeutic interpersonal relationships with patients and their families.
- She/he should demonstrate the ability to supervise and teach other personnel and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
- Qualifications should include graduation from a state accredited school of nursing, current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of New Hampshire and progressive experience in the nursing field.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient health problems
- Administering nursing care to ill, disabled, convalescent, or injured patients
- Maintaining vital medical records
- Implementing nursing care plans
- Advising patients on health maintenance
- Providing guidance about preventative services, such as health screenings and medications
- Administration of medications as prescribed by physician and performing treatments as prescribed and necessary
- Accurately reporting patient symptoms, reactions and progress, and being responsible for recording of medications, treatments and observations
- Assuming all other duties as assigned by DNS
