About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, promoting their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. Responsibilities

Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments and completes assessments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment and examination of patient.
Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient.
Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or Physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
Responds to situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
Assists aides on the floor in other direct patient/resident care activities when needed.
Utilizes the EMR appropriately, documenting necessary patient information in appropriate areas in a timely manner.
