About The Position
Join a fast-paced MS Stroke Stepdown unit caring for adult patients with a wide range of conditions including stroke, altered mental status, renal and dialysis needs, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, pulmonary issues, and general med-surg cases. This 64-bed unit offers exposure to diverse patient populations and hands-on experience with specialty equipment such as IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of MS experience with stroke stepdown background
- Prior travel experience required
- Active RN license (NY)
- Current AHA BLS & NIHSS (NIH required prior to start)
- EPIC EMR experience
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Valid driver’s license (address must match application details)
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Floating required
- Navy blue scrubs
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
