Scheduling & Flexibility Self-scheduling available Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions Day, night, and weekend-only shifts available Schedule preferences discussed during the interview process What You’ll Do As a Med Surg RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centered care while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team. Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy Collaborate with physicians and care team members to achieve positive patient outcomes Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies and life-threatening situations Maintain a clean, organized, and healing patient environment Participate in unit-based Quality Assurance and patient safety initiatives Support the orientation and training of new staff and nursing students as requested Practice within the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Active RN license eligible to practice in Wisconsin
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to safely use patient care equipment and meet physical and cognitive job demands
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities
