About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Women's Services at Community Medical Center utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients from admission through discharge or transfer. This role provides expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents, and manages patient loads within assigned timelines. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • PALS within six (6) months of hire
  • One (1) year of Mother/Baby or Labor experience
