This position at Olmsted Medical Center is for either a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an outpatient General Surgery/Urology setting. The role is 0.9 FTE on a day shift. Both LPNs and RNs are responsible for patient assessment, participating in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, advocating for patients, collaborating with other healthcare providers, and managing patient information in compliance with regulations. LPNs conduct focused assessments and perform delegated tasks, reporting changes to an RN or licensed healthcare provider. RNs provide comprehensive assessments, develop and coordinate integrated care plans, implement independent nursing actions, and manage/supervise nursing practice.
