About The Position

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical/Surgical unit. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient safety.

Requirements

• Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (State of Georgia or compact)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
