About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Heart and Vascular unit at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. Why this role is for you: In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated team that supports patients through complex procedures such as chest and thoracic aneurysm repair, vascular thoracotomy, and lung resection. You'll provide intermediate-level care with a strong emphasis on continuous monitoring and timely interventions. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will ensure exceptional outcomes, from hands-on care to educating patients for long-term wellness. What to expect:

Requirements

  • Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
  • BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Use your expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient centered care to make a significant impact on the lives of patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and perform necessary procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transition
