About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Heart and Vascular unit at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated team guiding patients through critical recovery stages as they transition from our CVICU. Your expertise and commitment will drive exceptional care, from hands-on procedures to empowering patients with education that supports their wellness journey. Requirements

Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

Play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
Work with patients who have spent time in our CVICU and who have stabilized to transition to this unit
Use your expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient centered care to make a significant impact on the lives of patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and perform necessary procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transition
