About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for an RN who excels in critical thinking, rapid clinical decision-making, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Active Florida RN license or Compact/Multi-state RN license
• BLS & ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
• PALS or ENPC (within 6 months of hire)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) (within 6 months of hire)
• TNCC (within 1 year of hire)

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Prior acute care experience in Emergency or Critical Care strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and ongoing patient assessments, including pain evaluation and reassessments after interventions
• Deliver and document ordered clinical interventions with accuracy and timeliness
• Advocate for patients by anticipating needs and ensuring high-quality care experience
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and manage emergency cases
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and documentation standards
