Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab - Hudson, Florida (Full Time, Direct Hire)
About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join a high-performing Cardiac Cath Lab team within a nationally recognized Heart Institute. This is an excellent opportunity for a critical care nurse looking to advance in a specialized cardiovascular environment with a strong reputation for innovation and clinical excellence. The position is full-time, days, with rotating weekends, located in Hudson, Florida, at a 390+ bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with an accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center.
Requirements
- Cardiac experience required (ICU or PCU strongly preferred)
- Active RN license (Florida or compact; Florida required within 60 days of hire)
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months of hire
- Strong critical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in clinical documentation systems
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or related acute care setting preferred
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases of cardiac catheterization cases
- Assist physicians during interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Administer medications and maintain accurate, detailed patient records
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to high-acuity or emergent situations
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality care initiatives
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
