About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Emergency Department / ICU Holding Unit . The nurse will provide care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced acute care environment while working closely with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience (within the last 2 years) in an acute care hospital
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
• Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
• Experience using EPIC EMR

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients
• Perform patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate care
• Follow hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment plans
