About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department within a large acute care hospital. The RN will assess, treat, and monitor patients while working collaboratively with physicians and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active RN License – New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Acute care hospital experience
• BLS Certification
• Strong clinical judgment and emergency care assessment skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
• EPIC EMR experience
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Maintain patient safety and follow established clinical protocols
