As a Registered Nurse Wound Care you will get the opportunity to be a part of a dedicated, close-knit team that does consults and treatment in a Level I Trauma Facility. This is a full-time, Day Shift position, scheduling is flexible between working 7:00AM - 4:30PM, working between 36-40 hours a week. You will be cross trained to work at either Banner University Medical Center Tucson campus or Banner University Medical Center South Tucson campus. Our Wound Care team provides proven treatment to heal a variety of chronic wounds. You'll get the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team, working with the latest in equipment and technology. We are looking for someone who can both work autonomously and self-directed while balancing that with working on a team. This is a small team who are highly autonomous in their practice but depend on each other to be successful as a team. These team members also teach wound care classes to bedside nurses so presentation skills will be important. POSITION SUMMARY This position applies specialized knowledge to assess, develop, implement, and develop patient care plans for a specific patient population. Integrates specialized knowledge into patient and staff education, consultation, and coaching to enhance and develop patient care for a specialized patient population.
