About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is located at Atrium Health University City Endoscopy in Charlotte, NC. The University City Endoscopy unit is part of a larger network of facilities serving the north market endoscopy, including University City, Lake Norman hospital, and two ambulatory procedural endoscopy units. It is described as a growing, fast-paced team where nurses work collaboratively in preop, postop, and the procedure room alongside physicians. The unit performs general GI endoscopy, some advanced GI procedures, Bronchoscopies, and cardioversions, focusing on strong teamwork, patient education, and safety for both inpatients and outpatients. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Previous endoscopy, PACU, procedural care experience strongly preferred for this role
