About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is located in the Endoscopy department at Atrium Health Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC. The Surgical Services at Lincoln features a modern procedural suite with three operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms, supporting specialties such as General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery (spinal procedures). The Endoscopy team performs a broad range of procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and select cardiology-related procedures like loop recorder insertions, TEEs, and cardioversions. The department operates Monday through Friday, with on-call coverage required for weekends and holidays. Routine surgical volumes average approximately 270 OR cases and 350 endoscopy cases per month. Preop/PACU staff contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on high-quality care, patient safety, and smooth perioperative workflow. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous ICU, PACU or ER nursing experience strongly preferred
