Registered Nurse (RN) - Administrative Supervisor
About The Position
Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where 465 lakes provide endless options for water sports and recreation. These cities, 125 miles north of Minneapolis, are at the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area, one of the state’s top vacation destinations. As an Administrative Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the quality of patient care provided within the facility, ensuring adherence to Essentia Health’s policies and procedures. Your leadership will directly contribute to the excellence of patient outcomes and the success of the organization. What You'll Be Doing: Providing Leadership in Patient Care: You will organize and oversee patient care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation processes, ensuring the highest standards of care. Making a Meaningful Impact: By aligning with the mission and goals of Essentia Health, you'll contribute to a healthcare system dedicated to serving the community and making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: You will ensure the facility’s adherence to the requirements set forth by the Joint Commission and other relevant federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. This position will work the following: 60 hours per pay period Every Other Weekend Rotating 12 Hour Shifts Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:30PM Overnight Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM
Requirements
- Educational Requirement: BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing is required. If candidate holds an ADN, a BSN degree is required within 3 years
- Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
