About The Position
Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work as a supervisor. The candidate will assist nurse managers with overseeing the clinical operations of our beautiful skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. Delmar Gardens is a family-owned, St. Louis-based company that has been serving the community for 60 years. Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
Responsibilities
- Monitor work flow of staff and redefine priorities as needed
- Make rounds on all divisions to ensure resident care needs are met
- Direct and evaluate nursing services provided on assigned shift, ensuring delivery of quality of resident care
- Demonstrate knowledge of residents who are at high risk for negative outcomes and communicate to staff at all levels
- Ensure appropriate resident care is documented during shift
- Perform a variety of nursing procedures according to acceptable standards of practice such as wound care, catheterizations, tracheal care, tube feedings, and administering oxygen
- Act as a resource for nursing staff
- Other duties as assigned
