About The Position
Wills Eye Hospital is hiring a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse in Cherry Hill, NJ at the Wills Eye Surgery Center - Cherry Hill, NJ . In this role, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered nursing care, apply clinical judgment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes. You’ll manage patient care activities, clinical assessments, treatments, coordination of services , and contribute to a positive patient experience. Requirements
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required .
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required .
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required .
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania required .
- One year of clinical experience is required .
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred .
- Three years of clinical experience is preferred .
Responsibilities
- Possesses knowledge of and the ability to perform duties in accordance with established standards for all Nursing practices as set forth in the Hospital policies.
- Keeps proficient and is knowledgeable of patient’s needs, techniques, and requirements at all times .
- Assesses the learning needs of patients/significant other(s ), and has knowledge of normal growth and development stages.
- Cares for specimens and cultures in accordance with Hospital policies and best practices.
- Possesses knowledge of anesthetic agents, techniques, actions and interactions to include patients of all ages.
