About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. The nurse will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The position supports the organization’s vision and mission, utilizing knowledge of patient’s developmental age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient and family-centered care. The Registered Nurse also contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements
- At least one year experience within the patient care area that candidate is applying to
- RN license
- BLS certification (upon hire for PICU)
- ACLS certification (upon hire for PICU)
- PALS certification (upon hire for PICU)
- NRP certification (upon hire for PICU)
- STABLE certification (upon hire for PICU)
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions
