About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The nurse supports the organization’s vision and mission, utilizes knowledge of patient’s developmental age and cultural diversity in providing patient and family-centered care, and contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
Requirements
- At least one year experience within the patient care area that candidate is applying to.
- RN BLS certification upon hire.
- ACLS certification upon hire.
- PALS certification upon hire.
- NRP certification upon hire.
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
