The role is located in Franklin, WI at the Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in the OR department, on a full-time day schedule.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi state/Compact State required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Bachelors in nursing preferred.
  • Understanding needs of getting surgical patients ready, strong phone and communications dealing with different doctor's offices and staff.
  • Organized, being able to task and complete charts for patients within a certain time frame.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the patient journey by serving as a dedicated navigator, ensuring individuals move seamlessly through every stage of their care with clarity and support.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships between physicians, community organizations, and administrative teams to break down barriers and create a unified care experience.
  • Drive clinical excellence by analyzing patient outcomes and data to recommend meaningful process improvements that elevate our standard of care.
  • Empower our most vulnerable populations by securing essential referrals and follow-up resources for uninsured and underinsured patients, ensuring no one is left behind.
  • Lead collaborative educational initiatives and quality improvement projects that align treatment efforts with the highest industry benchmarks.
