Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. Essential Functions Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date. Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date. Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date. Handle with Care preferred Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Department/Unit Summary 8 ICU bed, 4 progressive care beds Takes all neuro surgery and neurology patients, but also admits other diagnosis . Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
