Essential Functions Additional Information Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date. Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date. Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date. Handle with Care preferred Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Department/Unit Summary 8 ICU bed, 4 progressive care beds Takes all neuro surgery and neurology patients, but also admits other diagnosis . Requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
