About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing for a night shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires clinical competence, flexibility, and the ability to safely care for a diverse adult patient population.

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license (must be in hand)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Recent Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience

Nice To Haves

• Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
• Experience floating between compatible acute care units
• Excellent communication, time management, and critical-thinking abilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, including cardiac monitoring and interpretation
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per provider orders
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality outcomes
• Float to other units as needed, within scope of skill set
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
