Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) - 26-00330 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit MS/Tele Unit (26-bed unit) Shift Night Shift 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Contract Length 13 weeks Traveler Requirements First-time travelers accepted Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Licensure & Certifications Active New York RN license required (must be in hand – no exceptions) BLS certification required Experience Minimum of 1 year of RN experience EPIC charting experience required Patient Care Details Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7 (Med/Surg) Unit specializes in care for: Post-PCI patients Pacemakers and AICDs Post-myocardial infarction patients Cardiac pharmacological interventions Clinical Skills Required Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Rapid Response and Code Team participation IV Therapy / Phlebotomy Peripheral IV line care and management Respiratory Care Nasal cannula Oxygen face masks Portable oxygen tanks Non-invasive airway management Professional Competencies Isolation precautions Strong clinical judgment and teamwork Facility Highlights Type: Tertiary Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 528 Scrub Color Navy and white (any combination) Charting System Epic For more details reach at [email protected] or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
Requirements
- Active New York RN license required (must be in hand – no exceptions)
