About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care facility in Vestal, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Long-Term Care, Rehab, or Med-Surg preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications (Med Pass) and monitor patient responses
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any condition changes
- Deliver care to patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Support daily resident care activities and overall clinical operations
- Deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused nursing care
