Requirements

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in accordance with professional nursing standards.
• Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments, incorporating physical, psychological, educational, and age-specific needs.
• Communicate patient status effectively and document assessments clearly within the medical record; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care based on patient needs, strengths, limitations, and goals.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, including those related to patient safety, medication administration, and documentation standards.
• Utilize available resources to support the needs of patients and their families.
• Participate in evidence-based practice by completing at least one Clinical Research Utilization (CRU) submission annually, using recent (within 5 years) U.S.-based research.
