About The Position

Position Summary WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN), who will be centrally delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you provide compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in accordance with professional nursing standards. Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments, incorporating physical, psychological, educational, and age-specific needs. Communicate patient status effectively and document assessments clearly within the medical record; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care based on patient needs, strengths, limitations, and goals. Continuously evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, including those related to patient safety, medication administration, and documentation standards. Utilize available resources to support the needs of patients and their families. Participate in evidence-based practice by completing at least one Clinical Research Utilization (CRU) submission annually, using recent (within 5 years) U.S.-based research. Professional Development & Compliance Complete a minimum of five (5) nationally approved continuing education hours (CNE or CEU) annually. Maintain compliance with all required in-services, health screenings, and organizational training requirements. Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Requirements

  • Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
