Position Details: Shift: FT Nights Hours: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment Relocation assistance available Job Summary: Provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in the antepartum unit. Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions. Collaborate with physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families about pregnancy complications, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency protocols. Support patients emotionally and psychologically during prolonged hospital stays or complex pregnancies. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS certification
- NRP and STABLE certification
- COAP and Suicide Prevention course
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Nice To Haves
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred
