Position Details: Shift: FT Nights Hours: 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment Relocation assistance available Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Triages patients. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NRP certification.
  • Suicide Prevention Certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Nice To Haves

  • PALS and COAP preferred.
