As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns during one of the most pivotal moments in their lives. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring certification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in labor and delivery required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assessing for any signs of complications.
Assist with childbirth, including coaching, positioning, and administering medications as needed.
Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and positive birth experiences.
Educate and support expectant mothers and their families throughout the birthing process.
