About The Position

We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses – Community Living Center (CLC) to support the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is part of a critical staffing initiative to maintain high-quality patient care during the VA’s transition to the new Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The RN will provide direct patient care in a long-term and rehabilitative care setting while working closely with the interdisciplinary team to support veterans.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Current Ohio RN license or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact state
• Current CPR certification through an American Heart Association vendor
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Community Living Center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Document care accurately and timely in accordance with VA standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
