About The Position

Are you ready to lead programs that make a real difference? LAUNCH is seeking a dedicated and proactive Director of Community Living to oversee our community habilitation, adult recreation, and housing subsidy programs. This role offers the opportunity to shape services that promote independence, inclusion, and personal growth for individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll lead a passionate team, strengthen program quality, and ensure compliance — all while helping participants build meaningful connections in their communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a management level position.
  • Familiarity with OPWDD and Medicaid regulations strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Successful background check required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to build positive relationships and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with OPWDD and Medicaid regulations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support program staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure program compliance with OPWDD and Medicaid regulations.
  • Oversee documentation, billing, and quality assurance for all Community Living programs.
  • Track and analyze incidents, events, and satisfaction surveys to identify trends and improve services.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to staff to maintain high standards of care and participant engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to expand program reach and support agency goals.
