Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate holistic patient care by leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure every clinical specialist is aligned with the patient’s recovery goals.
  • Implement and adapt personalized care plans, actively monitoring patient progress to ensure treatments remain effective and responsive to changing needs.
  • Advocate for patient safety and comfort by executing clinical orders with precision and maintaining clear, real-time communication regarding patient status.
  • Lead the discharge planning process in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless and safe transition to home.
