We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist (Multi-Site) to support our hospital accounts in Alabama. Full-time position located in Atmore or Brewton. Support 2 accounts within Acute Care locations. These accounts are located in Atmore, AL and Brewton, AL.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills to encourage changes with nursing and kitchen management.
- 1-3 years working in long-term care and/or a hospital environment as a Registered Dietitian
- Registered Dietitian (Required)
- Dietetics
Responsibilities
- Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.
- Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes
- Compile with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents’ right policies, and CMS regulations
- Collaborate with IDT team to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
- Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
- Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen
