About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to provide on-demand procedural support, case coverage, and in-servicing across the Seguin region . This PRN/1099 consulting role is designed for cardiovascular technologists with Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology expertise who want flexible scheduling while supporting advanced interventions.
Requirements
- Active RCIS credential .
- 3+ years Cath Lab experience (Hybrid OR/IR accepted).
- Hands-on experience with interventional devices (Impella, Inari, AngioJet, IVUS, pacemakers/ICDs, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel regionally.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in medical device education or consulting .
- Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular and peripheral interventions .
Responsibilities
- Support Cath Lab procedures in scrub and monitor roles.
- Deliver staff/device education during live cases.
- Assist physicians with advanced interventions such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, thrombectomy, and pacemaker/ICD implants .
- Maintain current knowledge of cardiovascular devices and techniques.
- Travel within the Seguin/San Antonio/New Braunfels corridor ( mileage reimbursed ).
