About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), either full-time or part-time, who embodies a profound passion for transforming the lives of children and their families. We are seeking someone who will not only bring their expertise but also demonstrate a genuine commitment to uplifting and empowering our youngest generation. Qualifications & Responsibilities

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong skills in communication and behavior management.
• Ability to be flexible and to work collaboratively.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and safely.
• Strong skills in writing.
• Demonstrated capacity for empathy and creative problem solving.
• Comfortable with providing and receiving regular feedback
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification which starts with completing a quick 40 hour online training!

Responsibilities

• Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
• Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to various supports and reinforcements
• Follows behavioral and educational plans/interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeking appropriate consultation as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and back-up support as necessary and requested
• Collect daily behavioral and target data.
