Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years’ experience managing workplaces and facilities across multiple sites within different geographies, (e.g. North America)
  • Demonstrated ability to work within budgets and deliver services on time.
  • Deep understanding of building systems, maintenance protocols, and operational best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Align regional workplace operations with organizational strategy
  • Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to deliver successful outcomes
  • Lead and motivate teams, manage change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives, vendors, and community partners
  • Operations & Maintenance: Coordinate front-of-house support, including reception teams, room set-up, AV and meeting support, security, and cleaning services
  • Enforce and continuously improve policies and procedures, including vendor specifications, compliance standards, and service quality measures.
  • Hire and supervise contractors, conduct facility inspections, and ensure all contracted work meets agreed standards.
  • Proactively manage space utilization to ensure optimal workplace effectiveness support flexible/hybrid work environments.
  • Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship: Implement and champion sustainability initiatives, such as energy efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Track and report on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) metrics.
  • Risk Management & Health and Safety: Draft and update emergency plans and evacuation procedures, overseeing security and fire prevention systems
  • Take the lead in emergency response and evacuation procedures.
  • Financial oversight: Manage budgets, analyze costs, and optimize financial performance.
  • Work with procurement and lease management teams, lead vendor negotiations
