About The Position

Datassential is seeking a Vice President of Sales on the US team to lead ~8 sales executives in attainment of quarterly and annual quotas. As an integral part of our continued growth, you will be responsible for providing continuous mentorship and coaching for your team, refining the sales process, becoming an industry expert in our solutions and your clients’ business, and working cross functionally within the sales, marketing, and customer experience organizations to provide a stellar experience for prospective customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher education
  • 8+ years of experience managing high-performing B2B SaaS sales teams in a high velocity sales cycle (experience in data insights, market research, food and beverage, or hospitality preferred but not required)
  • Proven success exceeding quota in tech companies on a consistent basis
  • Strong understanding of sales best-practices and methodologies
  • Hands on leadership style
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both in person and virtually
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and trade events

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop a team of Regional Sales Directors, VPs of Key Accounts, and Solutions Engineer(s) focused on all new US business including new logo and expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor and refine processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success on your team.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Report on pipeline-building metrics and forecast to senior leadership.
  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship.
  • Empower your team to take ownership of their territories; help craft and execute territory plans and account reviews.
  • Drive sales processes to closure using strong sales fundamentals and techniques.
  • Ensure that team metrics are aligned with the broader organizational objectives.
