The Regional Vice President is accountable for developing and delivering a 3-5-year regional operations strategy. The Regional Vice President is also accountable for ensuring safe operations, delighting customers, and continuously improving revenue growth, operational effectiveness, and profitability. The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience. This role will work out of a location or city within the Midwest Region (e.g., Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Michigan, or Ohio) supporting our branch locations. What You'll Be Doing: Strategic leadership Develop, implement, and execute on a 5-year business plan that aligns with the company’s strategic operating plan to achieve key milestones and agreed deliverables. Staged approach to meet strategic milestones. Accountable to deliver annual regional budget goals and targets. Strategic positioning Develop and implement a regional growth strategy for Market Area operations, growing market share with the existing customer base, and partnering with Sales & Marketing on new customer growth/national account design. Ensures optimal strategic positioning for Operations to ensure continuous value creation for stakeholders. Talent management Provides executive managerial leadership for next-generation leaders; ensures the development of skilled knowledge to achieve optimal performance, including selecting, developing, and managing direct reports capable of producing the agreed deliverables. Commercial leadership Partner with SHS leadership to develop a World-Class Safety Culture, lead commitment and accountability for safe and efficient operations. What We're Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree What You'll Need for Success: Proven ability to attract develop and grow an organization capable of growing the business long term. A successful management track record in an operations type role relevant to this position. A minimum of 15 years of related work experience, with current duties that include significant management responsibilities including profit and loss. Related work experience should involve utilities, large plants, construction, or maintenance. Demonstrated capability to create a positive environment based on mutual respect and trust with employees, operating partners, and key stakeholders.
