The Regional Vice President will partner closely with executive leadership, regional leaders, and branch teams to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and a strong performance culture as we continue to scale and evolve as an organization. The Regional Vice President is responsible for the overall direction, management, sales, and P&L of the locations within the region. Location: Northeast

Requirements

  • 5 years of Regional Sales Management (or equivalent) experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 15 years of industry experience
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Travel required: Approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve financial objectives for their operating regions, inclusive of budgeted EBITDA, gross profit dollars and percentages, return on capital employed, working capital, days sales outstanding, and inventory management thresholds.
  • Lead and implement the changes necessary to grow as we evolve into a larger and more complex, dynamic sales organization, by coaching and developing team members.
  • Drive execution to our KPI’s as defined by our executive and RVP dashboard metrics.
  • Identify new product, market, and geographical opportunities to sustain growth.
  • Track, analyze and present sales metrics for the region.
  • Assist Area/Regional Sales Managers with the preparation of annual budgets, which will culminate into the regional budget.
  • Lead regional vendor relationships as prioritized by our Category Management supply strategy and local opportunities.
  • Provides leadership to the regional sales management team by setting clear goals and objectives for themselves and their direct reports and ensuring a measurement strategy is in place to accomplish the goals while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Visit branches within the region a minimum of four times a year.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to at the branch level.
