About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the sales of the company’s products throughout a defined geographical region, industry, or product line. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Requirements

  • Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent and knowledge of, and/or experience in the sales of product within the industry, or product segment.
  • Requires a minimum 2 years of sales management experience.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills required.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and communicate persuasively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) with knowledge of standard CRM Database package and other software programs used within the company.
  • Steady paced, able to work consistently with many distractions.
  • Must be able to work within a team and independently.
  • Must be able to maintain an organized schedule with competing priorities, executing plans within scheduled deadlines.
  • Good analytical ability with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Acts in ethical and professional manner at all times with colleagues, customers, and vendors, representing the highest standards of Aiphone behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves quarterly and annual goals assigned by Director of Sales, including but not limited to, regional sales quotas, new product sales, customer training, and strategic account management.
  • Assists in managing the company’s relationships with all local, regional, and national accounts.
  • Assists distributors and dealers with the development of new business opportunities.
  • Helps develop short- and long-range sales objectives, plans strategies for attainment, and develops sales performance standards for measuring progress.
  • Reports progress towards assigned goals to Director of Sales.
  • Conducts training classes, both technical and sales, for various accounts.
  • Compiles and analyzes sales data.
  • Uses company resources and self-training techniques to learn company sales and marketing goals and strategies; product information including technical and application; effective use of account management and presentation tools.
  • Maintains and updates customer database.
