Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands… As the Regional Sales Manager for California, Arizona and Hawaii market regions, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by building strategic customer relationships and delivering value‑engineered Traka technology solutions. Each day brings meaningful engagement—from uncovering customer needs to presenting Traka’s industry‑leading electronic key and equipment management solutions, crafting detailed specifications and SOWs, developing compelling proposals, and ultimately closing new business. Success in this role relies on strong partnership with Sales Engineering, Account Management, and Professional Services to ensure customers receive a seamless experience from initial discovery through deployment. You will use your understanding of the regional market landscape and high‑growth industries to build and manage a healthy pipeline in Salesforce CRM. Equally important, you will serve as the voice of the customer—bringing forward product feedback, innovative ideas, and market insights that help Traka stay ahead in your region. Your technical sales acumen positions you as a trusted advisor in key and equipment management technology. Reporting to the Vice-President, Sales & Business Development , you will be accountable for leading revenue growth across your assigned region. This includes driving strategic business development efforts, shaping value‑engineered Traka solutions that meet customer needs, and advancing opportunities from initial discovery through close. You will apply strong technical sales judgment to develop clear specifications and well‑structured SOWs, build compelling proposals, and guide customers toward the right solution. Throughout the sales cycle, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure commitments are met and projects transition smoothly into delivery. This is a customer facing role which always requires the highest level of customer service. The role will perform responsibilities following all company standards, policies, and procedures. When not in the field, this will be a work from home position. A suitable, dedicated home office space for working and presenting Traka solutions will be necessary to perform the role. Who You Are: You are a technical sales professional based in the California or Arizona (“Calizona”) market region who brings enthusiasm, drive, and genuine curiosity to solving real‑world challenges through technology. A confident and articulate communicator, you are passionate about understanding customer needs and ensuring every solution is thoughtfully designed, expertly deployed, and fully optimized to deliver measurable value. You have proven experience in technical sales within the region and have cultivated strong relationships with both end users and channel partners. You operate with integrity and humility, consistently putting the customer at the center of your approach. Details matter to you—you take pride in your work and understand how small refinements can make a meaningful impact. Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, you can navigate both technical and non‑technical conversations with ease.
