About The Position

MAPEI, a global leader in construction solutions, is expanding its commercial team in Puerto Rico. We’re looking for a high‑energy Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth, strengthen key customer relationships, and lead market execution across the island.

Requirements

  • 5+ years, B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, building materials, or chemical products.
  • Proven experience managing a territory and key accounts independently.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; D365/CRM preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel throughout Puerto Rico, including occasional overnights.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy for Puerto Rico.
  • Grow and develop relationships with distributors, retailers, contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Lead forecasting, territory planning, and performance management for the region.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements.
  • Support reps in closing key deals and delivering hands‑on product demonstrations.
  • Expand market presence through channel development and new product launches.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Technical Services, and other teams to ensure execution excellence.
