About The Position

We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales team! DISCOVER As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Watkins Wellness, you will provide consultative support to our dealer customers within a designated territory, by offering sales and marketing training to maximize their efforts as a spa/Sauna retailer, and proactively selling Watkins Wellness’ spa/Saunas’ and accessory products through our dealer channel. You will have a direct impact on our business as it relates to the sales of our leading spa, Saunas and aquatic fitness products such as Hot Spring® Spas, Caldera® Spas, and Endless Pools® and Tylo Saunas. The assigned region for this position is Texas. The ideal candidate will reside anywhere within the region provided there is reasonable access to various locations within. YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT Do you have a strong customer focus? You will build and maintain positive working relationships with Watkins Wellness’ existing and potential dealer customers by providing consistent value through product and sales training, business partnering, dealer visits, effective communication, and systematic follow up. Can you inspire others? You’ll provide sales and marketing training on a regular basis to our existing dealers to help build capabilities and increase product knowledge to drive overall business performance. Are you goal driven? As a Regional Sales Manager on our team, you will need to be dedicated to meet our annual sales targets and help drive sales for our various product categories. Can you execute programs? You will be responsible for ensuring that our sales and marketing programs are implemented throughout your assigned region. You will also coordinate with corporate Sales, Marketing, Dealer Support and other internal staff to ensure that our programs and materials are used effectively. Are you solutions minded? You will work with your dealer customers and internal teams to problem solve as issue may arise related to areas such as delivery or technical problems, business challenges, product concerns, internal supply chain delays, etc. Are you organized and detailed? You’ll actively manage your territory by planning your dealer visits and route loops, preparing meeting agendas, and providing regular updates to the Sales team and management through reports and presentation slides. You’ll also need to maintain accurate records and submit required expense and status reports on a scheduled basis. Can you promote the business? You will represent Watkins Wellness and our/or our dealer customers at local and national trade shows, internal and external conferences, promotional events, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Management, Marketing or related field is preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Five years' experience in wholesale and retail sales.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others, increase revenues, and work as a team essential.
  • Proficient user in MS Office applications. Must be able to prepare reports, presentations, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
  • Must be willing and able to travel approx. 110 days/nights per year .
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with consumer products, independent retailers, and Business-to-Business (B2B) channels is preferred.
  • Experience working in the Pool and Spa industry is a plus.
