About The Position

We’re growing—and looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to expand our presence across the East North Central region. If you thrive in consultative sales, enjoy working directly with customers, and want to represent a respected brand with strong internal support, this role is for you. As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll own and grow an established territory spanning Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky by building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing technical equipment sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in engineering, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical or industrial equipment field sales
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with bulk processing or material handling equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue within an assigned territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Meet directly with customers, prospects, and manufacturers’ representatives to understand application needs and recommend solutions
  • Develop and present quotations, proposals, and sales strategies tailored to customer requirements
  • Review technical and engineering specifications and coordinate responses with internal teams
  • Maintain consistent follow-up on leads and customer inquiries
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, and Marketing teams at Flexicon headquarters
  • Travel extensively (up to 85%) to support customer engagement and territory growth
