About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager within our company is responsible for customer-facing interactions with customers and prospects in North America. The scope of the role includes generating and managing sales revenue of $20-30 Million.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Health, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical, Food, Biomedical or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, with 1-2 years of work experience in the food/nutritional ingredient industry; OR In lieu of a college degree, 5-7+ years of work experience in the food/nutritional ingredient sales would be required
  • Demonstrated computer skills/knowledge of Microsoft Office (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time. Some travel may require travel during weekends
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Managing current accounts and prospecting new business representing $20-30 Million in sales revenue
  • Identifying market opportunities and growing current assigned accounts and revenue to a target of $30-40 Million
  • Identifying and contacting potential customers, presenting products/services, conducting demonstrations, answering questions, and educating clients; guiding clients from initial interest to closing deals
  • Effectively launching new products within the customer's/prospect's responsibility scope
  • Being operationally expert in CRM and internal Sales processes
  • Attending and supporting major tradeshows in North America, including but not limited to IFT and SSG
  • Engaging with existing customers to increase overall relationship span that conveys Rousselot's core competencies while delivering profitable volume growth
  • Developing relationships with prospective customers in order to gain market share and grow market volume
