About the Role The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of telephonic and field sales professionals toward meeting company objectives in the areas of new revenue, retention revenue, customer satisfaction and the financial growth of your regional base business.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Be able to travel based on customer needs
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of information services industry and sales methodologies
  • Demonstrate successful sales experience in a complex solution or B2B environment
  • Display seasoned leadership practices such as fostering a climate that values and rewards overall performance excellence
  • Be proficient with virtual delivery platforms GoToMeeting, WebEx, and Skype
  • Have experience in working with the Salesforce.com CRM platform

Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership in sales function, and being accountable for the performance and results of multiple direct reports
  • Developing strategic plans and priorities, and aligning resources as needed
  • Attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent to build a high-performance sales team
  • Partnering with cross-functional leadership team, providing feedback and collaborating on segment-level project
  • Managing multiple professionals, setting organizational priorities, and allocating resources
  • Being accountable for end results, finances, budget, and exercises control over resources, planning, and policy formulation
